3D items sculpting

The other days we focused on other blender instruments creating shapes with different texture and outlook shape modifiers, arriving at some items for example: a juicer, a basketball, a futuristic spaceship.

Lollyplant

We also arrived at designing lamps. Mine (which I intended to call “LollyPlant”) it’s the result of combining both a lollypop and a plant in a pot, exploring also the use of nodes, lights and glassy, reflective material with cycles.

3D text in real space

I found interesting also working with text, and implementing the 3D version of it into a tridimensional space: the one of a real life picture thanks to the use of fSpy guidelines. I produced the metallic, and a little opalescent lettering “Ponte” (the Italian term for Bridge), placed on a bridge.

Final personal project: PopBloom

Last but not least, I have my final and personal project: PopBloom. A 3D animation of a character I personally designed: a cartoonish, goofy and colorful flower on a pink background with clouds. I really wanted to suggest a kind of a pop, surrealistic and dreamy atmosphere. The camera goes around the flower, which at the end of the animation starts rotating and lighting up its petals.
